The Inn is, as it always is in the mornings, quiet, calm, and... well, slightly forboding.

However, suddenly, as things Outside are wont to do, a banner appears across the main room: Happy 21st Birthday Gillian!

Everyone also gets a purple party hat, and a piece of cake, with a note: There's nothing wrong with it, ~Jane

Regulus has been dividing his time between keeping up at school and poking at the computer Willow started him on. The typing thing's going all right, but it doesn't always hold his interest.

And Angel's on one of the couches, with a sewing project. Say what you will about thinking things into existence around here, there are some occasions where actually doing the work yourself is a lot more fun.
He might be thinking up lunch soon, though. It's damn hard to say no to instant food service.

JD, obviously, loves the music, because Star Wars is yay for him and the movies have been the subject of a daydream or two in the past. And who doesn't like the "Happy Birthday" song? He's learned not to question the mighty powers of the Inn so he doesn't wonder as to the purpose of the towels, the lilacs, gold coins, or the music, simply enjoys ( Read more... )

And surprise! There is a Luke walking into the Inn, and looking rather surprised about it. The day's decor is rather lost on him--even the soundtracks mean nothing to him.

"You know," he says aloud in a patient tone, as if the Inn can hear him, "I'd really rather be back on Coruscant with Val. At least today."

Carl is not in the computer lab, for once.
...He does have one of the laptops with him, though, so this trip out may not count. But he's trying! and for now, he's not trying to hack anything, just getting a sense of the system.
